Scarlet Summer

As I was taking a walk, I found many different kinds of plants.  However, I decided to take a picture of this lone scarlet flower. It stood out so much against the neutral toned browns and whites in the foreground.

Although I could have left out the rocks and focused solely on the flower, I felt that the rocks added a more garden-like 🌿, summery 🏖️ touch to the picture.

I left this picture unedited, and let the sunshine ☀️ add brightness to the image. The contrast & shadows in this photograph add depth and life to the image.
