I experimented with different elements in my background to emphasize certain features in my image, sharing the results with you.

Pink Clusters

During my hiatus, I was able to take a multitude of pictures. One image that really stood out to me featured small, pink blooms clustered together.

In a Vase on Monday: Dip-Dyed Roses

Cathy at Rambling in the Garden started a series for gardening bloggers called 'In a Vase on Monday'. I'm not a gardening blogger, but I do post a lot of nature. I found a vase with these flowers, so I took a picture.

The rocks' variations in colour, shape and size on this patch of land added a sense of uniqueness. I simply had to take a picture.

While editing a picture I previously took, I went overboard and decided to share the results.

Update: February 9, 2017

...I will fill in all my lovely readers (that's you!) on something exciting coming up very soon.

First Snow

The first snowfall of the season is looked forward to each year. I took some pictures specifically to mark the occasion.

Jade Leaves

This time, I took a picture of something other than flowers and autumn leaves, while still incorporating nature in my photograph.

Blush Blooms

I always seem to stumble upon post-worthy flowers when I'm running errands or during my commute.

Contrasting Purples

The purple tones are stunning and contrast beautifully with the green grass.
